Corporate Compliance
Effective Date: March 1, 2026
Commitment to Ethical Conduct
The Script Health, LLC ("The Script") is committed to conducting all business activities with the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This Corporate Compliance statement outlines our ethical obligations and the standards we uphold as a healthcare staffing organization and employer of record.
Equal Employment Opportunity
The Script is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
Non-Discrimination in Placement: The Script will not honor discriminatory staffing requests from client healthcare facilities. If a facility requests staffing based on criteria that would constitute unlawful discrimination, we will decline the request and, where appropriate, report the conduct to the relevant regulatory authority.
Healthcare Industry Compliance
Washington State Staffing Agency Registration
The Script is in the process of registering as a temporary healthcare staffing agency in Washington state in accordance with applicable state regulations. We are committed to meeting all registration requirements and maintaining our registration in good standing.
Licensing and Credential Verification
The Script is committed to nationally recognized credentialing standards. We perform primary source verification of all professional licenses, certifications, and credentials required for healthcare placements. Primary source verification means confirming credential validity directly with the issuing authority or through an authorized verification organization.
Credential Maintenance and Monitoring
We actively monitor credential expiration dates for all placed clinicians and provide advance notification of upcoming expirations. Clinicians are responsible for maintaining current, valid credentials throughout their placements. The Script will not assign or continue to assign a clinician whose required credentials have lapsed.
Credential Fraud Detection and Reporting
The Script maintains procedures for detecting and reporting credential fraud. We prohibit the facilitation of unlicensed practice in any form. In the event that a clinician's license is suspended, revoked, or subject to disciplinary action during an active assignment, The Script will:
Immediately notify the affected facility and remove the clinician from clinical duties.
Cooperate fully with the relevant licensing board investigation.
Report the matter to appropriate regulatory authorities as required by law.
Employer Obligations
As the employer of record for placed clinicians (W-2 employees), The Script is committed to meeting all employer obligations, including:
Workers' Compensation: Full compliance with the Washington State Industrial Insurance Act (Title 51 RCW), including maintaining appropriate workers' compensation coverage for all placed clinicians.
Wage and Hour Compliance: Full compliance with the Washington Minimum Wage Act (RCW 49.46) and the federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), including proper classification, overtime, and pay practices.
Immigration Compliance: Completion of I-9 verification for all employees in compliance with federal law, with a commitment to non-discrimination in the verification process as required by the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Professional Liability Insurance: The Script provides professional liability insurance for clinicians placed through our services. Coverage details, limits, and terms are provided in each clinician's placement agreement.
Anti-Fraud and Anti-Kickback
The Script is committed to compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute (AKS), the False Claims Act (FCA), and all applicable anti-corruption laws. We do not offer, pay, solicit, or receive any form of remuneration in exchange for referrals or business. All employees and contractors are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent billing, kickback arrangements, or corrupt practices.
Data Protection and Privacy
The Script is committed to protecting the personal information of all users. Our data protection practices are described in detail in our Privacy Policy. We implement technical and organizational measures to safeguard personal information and comply with applicable data protection laws, including the Washington My Health My Data Act.
Workplace Safety
The Script is committed to the safety and well-being of all placed clinicians. We comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and applicable state workplace safety regulations. Clinicians are expected to follow all facility safety protocols and are provided with information about personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements for each assignment.
Reporting Concerns
The Script encourages all employees, clinicians, facility partners, and members of the public to report compliance concerns, ethical violations, or suspected illegal activity. Reports can be made through the following channels:
Compliance Email: compliance@thescript.health
Anonymous Reporting: An anonymous reporting mechanism (web form) is available for individuals who wish to report concerns without identifying themselves.
Direct Communication: Employees and clinicians may report concerns directly to management or human resources.
Non-Retaliation: The Script strictly prohibits retaliation against any individual who reports a compliance concern in good faith. This policy is consistent with Washington state whistleblower protections under RCW 49.60.210 and healthcare-specific protections under RCW 43.70.075.
All reports are acknowledged within 5 business days and are investigated promptly and thoroughly. The Script takes appropriate corrective action when compliance violations are identified.
Quality Assurance
The Script is committed to the quality of our staffing services. We monitor placement quality through facility feedback, clinician evaluations, and outcomes tracking. We maintain a formal process for handling facility complaints and use feedback to drive continuous improvement in our services.
Training and Education
All Script employees and leadership receive ongoing compliance training covering the topics outlined in this statement, including anti-fraud, non-discrimination, credential verification, data protection, and workplace safety. Training is provided at onboarding and on a recurring basis thereafter.
