I built a Special Olympics snowshoeing team from scratch — recruiting athletes, raising donations, running practices, and driving to the mountains every-single-week. It was my first real venture into building something, and it was so much more work than I ever imagined. But somewhere in the middle of that season, watching the pride on those athletes' faces humbled me in a way I'll never forget. It was then that I knew I was made to be in service to others. And I've been building for that belief ever since.

That spark carried me into occupational therapy school and eventually into the pediatric school-based world, where I saw something that troubled me deeply. Clinicians were paid less, supported less, and treated as an afterthought. I became a contractor to try and bridge that gap. And in doing so, I saw behind the curtain. Too many companies prioritized profit over people. Clinicians became competitive placements. Communities became quotas.

So I built something different. A company rooted in mission, centered on the needs of providers and the students they served. We created meaningful change for thousands of specialists and students across the country, before finding a home with an organization that could carry it even further.

But the story didn't end there. Healthcare contractors everywhere were still being undervalued, under-supported, and underestimated. So here we are again, with more tools, more experience, and more fire than ever. Because when you put people first, the whole system changes. The outcomes, the experience, the spirit.
